We’ve featured Julia on the blog before and she has once against wowed us with her boho, carefree style. Julia’s a senior studying advertising with a focus in art direction and graphic design. The creativity in her work is reflected in her artistic style. Julia is also a University Brand Ambassador for Kind Healthy Snacks (aka those granola bars that actually taste good.) After graduation, Julia hopes to continue working for Kind in a creative capacity.
Layering can be difficult, but Julia suggests taking risks and that sometimes, looking weird can be a good thing. Julia pairs a black Target cami with a kimino from Urban Outfitters and her grandma’s plaid coat. Her distressed, high waisted jeans are from Urban Outfitters.
It is always a good idea to base an outfit around a singular clothing item, and for Julia, it was her new purple velvet Free People booties: serious statement shoes.
Julia’s layers continues to her necklaces. Her “Julia” necklace was a Christmas gift from her best friend and her statement gold necklace is from Forever 21. They may seem like an unconvential pair, but it totally works!
Julia’s vintage Coach bag was her mom’s and the Indian scarf tied to the bag was a gift from her cousin. A colorful scarf is a great way to make a classic, but simple bag a little more special.
Julia wears a variety of rings from an art fair and Jambo. The ring on her thumb was her grandfather’s.
