Tropical prints have been going in and out of style for decades now. In the early 2000s, the only tropical print to be seen would be in Hawaii on vacation. Summer ’14 and now Spring ’15 have seen the rise of tropical prints once more. Hannah, an advertising major, wears a pair of cotton tropical print pants from Buffalo Exchange.

I’m taking this weather and these pants as a sign that spring is making an early appearance this year. And I love it– the pants and the weather. Hannah wants to use her ad major and art minor to one day work as an art director for a magazine. With her trend spotting skills, she’s sure to be a prime candidate!

Hannah pairs her pants with a green bomber jacket and white tank. She bought the jacket at a boutique in Seattle called Zebra Club.

She balances the outfit with white details. These white converse are another trend that are sure to stick around for some time.
