How would you describe your style? I would describe my style as varying. There are days when I just want to wear something relaxed, but I do love clothes. I have fun pushing boundaries, trying new things and looking at upcoming trends on Instagram, which I could do for hours.

Are there any other styles you admire? Lately, I’m obsessed with Sofia Richie. I love how she mixes elegant, girly pieces with big sweatshirts and baggy jeans. I wish I could pull off the stuff that she wears on a daily basis.

10.png“The necklace was a freakin’ piece of string from Jo-Ann Fabrics,” Julia tells us.

What one song describes your fashion and demeanor? “No Scrubs” by TLC is my song for freakin’ life! It’s sassy, but fun, kind of silly and strong.

What’s one piece of clothing that’s been in your closet forever and one piece of clothing that you recently added to your wardrobe? One piece of clothing that has been in my closet forever is a pair of jeans that I have had since high school. They fit me so well, and my mom begs me to give them away because with every passing year, they become more and more torn up. A new piece of clothing is the jacket I’m wearing! My mom convinced me that I needed it, and she was right.

“My rings are from a man in Jerusalem who called himself ‘The Ring Man.’ He was very strange, but nice!”

How would you define and describe beauty? Beauty means being confident in yourself and looking for inspiration in others. You can wear sweats and a sweatshirt, but if you’re out there owning it, that’s real beauty.

If you were a cartoon character, what would your 24/7 outfit be? My 24/7 cartoon outfit would be black jeans, a baggy white t-shirt, a jean jacket and a cool necklace.

What’s getting you through the last few weeks of the term? Food food food! It’s sad, but I am a true stress eater and a happy eater and a sad eater. Food can cure all my problems. Specifically, pickles and Annie’s white cheddar mac & cheese.

Do you think fashion is essential to who you are? Fashion is definitely essential to who I am. I love keeping up with the trends in the world, and clothing fits into that pretty well. I also really enjoy trying new things, and it’s easy to do that by throwing pieces together in a new way.

How do you hope your style will change after college, and what do you hope will remain the same? I hope I will always stay classy and not dress in an obnoxious way, but I hope I will be able to keep up with the fast moving trends of wherever I live after school.
